I confess I was so excited to use my new Rio Rondo supplies I spent 1 and 1/2 hours making this: A simple stable halter and lead.

Now that that's finished, I really ought to get cranking on that essay due Tuesday..... :)

Christmas came in September for me!! Yesterday I received my first installment of supplies from Rio Rondo.

I am currently working on an NYPD mounted police saddle (australian stock saddle). This will be the second saddle I have ever made. My first attempt at making a traditional sized saddle was a tan-colored huntseat saddle I finished a few months ago. 

Constructive criticism is welcome! Although this wasn't a bad first attempt, there are several things that could have turned out better.
